Owensboro United Soccer League (formerly known as Thompson-Berry Youth Soccer) will be hosting a walk-in registration on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Legends (address is 325 Park Plaza, Owensboro behind Kroger at Wesleyan Park Plaza).
Staff will be on hand to answer questions and take registration and medical waiver documents from 9AM to 1PM. Please contact Duncan Campbell at decampbelldbs@bellsouth.net with any questions.

Online Registration for the Owensboro United Soccer League is OPEN for the Spring 2012 season. (Formerly TBYSA). Registration will be open until February 18, 2012.

Soccer Players and Parents,
Owensboro will be hosting two referee certification classes early next year. These are classes for FIRST TIME participants desiring to become referees. All participants must register for the classes online at the Kentucky Soccer Referee Association’s website, http://www.kyreferee.com/Clinics.htm. The classes are not currently available online but should be available soon. The purpose of this email is to provide everyone notice so players and parents can plan on attending.
Grade 8 – Saturday and Sunday February 11th and 12th
Owensboro Police Department – Community Center, 8am to 5pm both days.
Grade 9 – Saturday, March 3rd (one day class)
Owensboro Police Department – Community Center, 8am to 5pm
The cost is $65, both classes.
The most common question is what is the difference between a Grade 8 and a Grade 9? There are no assignment restrictions for a Grade 8 Referee. A Grade 9 Referee can be assigned to any recreational game but cannot be the Referee for any competitive games and can only be assigned as an assistant referee to those games involving U14 and under. The Grade 9 class is great for both player and parents to attend together, as well as high school and college players.
